Sea water
The most important difference between sea water and sea water that is over the mainland is the salinity. The salinity of sea water in oceans is , on an average, thirty five in thousand, that is , there is 35 gram salt in 1,000 gram water. The cause of this is to have 88, 8 rate of chlorine combination. But, the biggest proportion is sodium chloride with the rate of 77,7 ; that is ,table salt. Water sea has decomposed magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, calcium carbonate, and calcium sulfate and bromine combinations. Sea’s salinity rate can change according to the evaporation and freshwater.
The rate of salinity can raise to forty in a thousand or more in some seas like Red sea because of high evaporation and few stream, which are running to water. However, the rate of salinity can be between three and twenty in a thousand like Baltic Sea which has less evaporation and a few rivers that are running to sea.
Also, the sunshines warm the sea. So that , the heat of sea water can be 30 degree, especially Equator. But, the heat of sea water can decrease to the Poles and water freezes , according to the rate of salinity, between -1 and -1,9 degrees.
The mediterranean Region are fostered falls and streams, which are beautiful in each other. Despite this, the rate of salinity is ratherly high because of the mediteranean climate in comparison with our country’s other seas and it is felt.
Because of the mountain’s paralel extension to coasts, there are not so many bays and gulfs in comparison with The Eagean Region. It is one of the most famous tourism center(s with its 1452 kilometres shore.
It is determined in the gauge of sea water that Çolaklı has 20 districts which sea bathing can be done, and from these districts , 15 districts have “ blue flag”.
